Unexpectedly, at his daughter’s residence. Son of the late Thomas (Butler) and Kathleen, devoted Dad to David, Caroline, Lisa and Joseph. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sons and daughters, their mother Maura, brothers Thomas and Robert, grandchildren Shannon, Aaron, Leah, Dylan, Cian, Nicole, Kacey, Layla and Ultán, son-in-law Seoirse, daughter-in-law Sheena, extended family Darren and Donna, Frankie and Ryan, relatives and friends.

Due to restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Joe’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.

There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Joe by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Wednesday, 28th April as the funeral cortège proceeds on foot from his home at 10.40am, to the Church of the Holy Redeemer, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Afterwards, the cortège will return on foot to Beechmount Drive, then continue, driving, via Marian Park to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.
