God’s Garden
God looked around His garden
and saw an empty space,
He then looked down upon earth
and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you
and lifted you to rest,
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
God knew you were in pain
and a cure was not to be,
So he closed your weary eyelids
and whispered come to me.
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you slip away,
Although we loved you dearly
we knew you could not stay.
It broke our hearts to lose you
but you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
Betty will always be remembered by daughter Alice, son John, daughter-in-law Olive, grandchildren Niall, Sinead, Clare, Damian, Colin and Eoghan, great-grandchildren, sisters Mena and Ann, brothers Patsy, Charlie, Eamon, Bertie and Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
