After Glow

I’d like the memory of me

to be a happy one.

I’d like to leave an after glow

of smiles when life is done.

I’d like to leave an echo

whispering softly, down the way.

Of happy times and laughing times

and bright and sunny days.

I’d like the tears of those who grieve

to dry before the sun.

Of happy memories that I leave

when life is done.

Margaret will always be remembered by her parents Liam and Mary, sister Leona, brothers Liam, Patrick and Emmet, brother-in-law Thomas, sisters-in-law Leoina, Lorna and Chandell, nieces and nephews MaryKate, Anna, Amelia, Emma, Jenna, Ivy, Róisin, Aoibhinn, Thomas, Joshua, Patrick, Liam and Eóghan, her uncles Hugh, Michael, Jim and Brendan , aunt Patricia, a vast circle of friends and her fellow colleague officers of Mountjoy Prison.
