Peacefully, in his 95th year, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his father Thomas and mother Cecelia, his wife Vera and son Vincent, his brother Seán and sisters May, Lena, Rita, Sheila and Frances. He will be sadly missed by his wife Gemma, children Miriam, Tom, Paul, Joann and Patrick, sons-in-law Francis and Paul, daughters-in-law Rebecca, Fiona and Joan, brother Michael (Connecticut), sisters Irene (Boston) and Joan, grandchildren Emma, Katie, Órla, Daniel, Ellie, Lana, Sean, Lexi, Harry, Finn, Cian, Jack, Ronan and Leah, his nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (EircodeA91 T278) from 4pm-8pm on Wednesday, July 3rd and from 3pm-6pm on Thursday, July 4th, with removal at 6.30pm to St. Mary’s Church, Lordship, (Eircode A91 HP76), arriving at 6.45pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, July 5th, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Lordship Cemetery.
