Mark (Maxi) KAVANAGH

Mark to some, Maxi to many, quietly slipped away in the gentle care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Dad to Shannon, Dearbhla and Cayla and a Father Figure to many, Gaga to Bréa and Dannan, son of Angela and the late Seán and brother of Sandra, Gerard, Seán, Michael, Darren and the late Caroline and Andrew. He will be so missed by his heartbroken daughters, grandchildren, mother, sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52, entrance from Castletown Road) on both Tuesday, October 1st and Wednesday, October 2nd from 3pm-8pm, with A Celebration of His Life on Wednesday at 8pm. Removal on Thursday, October 3rd at 12.15pm, proceeding on foot to the Church of the Holy Redeemer (Eircode A91 NY2Y), arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. After Mass the cortège will drive to Oriel Park en route to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.

After the burial, everyone is invited to Oriel Park for refreshments and to share more memories of Maxi.
