It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melissa Hayley Fagan, who passed away on the 24th of February surrounded by her loving family and friends, in the dedicated care of the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.

Melissa’s greatest joy was her family. She will be sadly missed by her adoring husband Austin and their two sons, Cillian and Rordan who were the light of her life.

She will also be deeply missed by her extended family – her brother Steven and sister Kim, she was predeceased by her mother Sharon; her father David; his wife Yvonne; cousins Jonathan, Garth and Gary; parents-in-law Tom and Bride Fagan, brothers-in-law Conall and Vincent; sisters-in-law Robyn, Sarah (who predeceased her), Hannah and Carmelita, nieces Lia, Eve and Mara and nephews Adam, Daniel, Luke and Thomas.

Melissa had a circle of close friends that spanned Ireland, the UK and South Africa. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by them all.

There will be a Celebration of her Life at 1pm on Wednesday, the 26th of February in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road). Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery (Eircode A91 F598).
